VL45 Radiohus Pendant

from 620.00

The Radiohus Pendant was originally designed in the 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset building on Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, which is now home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music. It was originally used for general illumination in many parts of the Radiohuset building. With its powerful downwards light combined with gentler illumination via the opal glass generating softer tones it is ideal for illuminating both everyday and decorative objects and more decorative items.

The handblown glossy white opal glass is combined with a brushed brass pendant tube which connects it to the 12' white PVC cord

Available in Small (9.8" diameter and 9.7" high) and Large (14.6" diameter and 14.6" high)
