The GE 1 is a lounge chair, a daybed, a chaise longue, and, in short, a fantastic design for relaxation. This beautiful design is by Hans Wegner in 1954 and is manufactured by Getama.
The chair is a hybrid and a unique manifestation of Wegner’s understanding of functional design, where details and aesthetics are preconditions, not obstacles, of comfort.
